Green Economy

Communications consultant for the Inclusive Green Growth in Egypt (IGGE) project by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization.

IGGE drives market system changes in the green economic sectors of Upper Egypt through supporting hundreds of green and circular businesses which have employed over 2,300 people and mobilized USD 6.45 million in co-financing, driving tangible growth across Egypt’s green and circular economy.

IGGE is a significantly large-scale project on which I:

  • Provided marketing and communications guidance to businesses to brand and promote their products and drive sales.

  • Developed marketing and communications materials for the businesses and the project including guides, brochures, fact sheets, content for social media, presentations, reports, videos etc.

  • Developed a website to encourage investments in the green economy and provide details for the various businesses and sectors supported by the project.

  • Organized large scale events “Green Business Expo” with over 1500 visitors, bringing over 100 businesses showcasing their innovative green products and services to financiers, partners, service providers and suppliers.
